All active law enforcement, firefighters and U.S. military personnel get two-for-one snow play passes every Monday through Thursday during Big Bear Snow Play’s BADGE DAYS. This comes at an opportune time for those who serve our local communities and our nation that want to treat their kids to a fun-filled spring break escape in the snow. Show official badge or military ID every Monday through Thursday now through April 18, and get a free all-day snow play pass with the purchase of a regular all-day pass. It’s a $35 value.
Big Bear Snow Play, once a ski area known as Rebel Ridge, features the longest snow tubing hill in Southern California. With Big Bear Snow Play’s quality snowpack, it’s projected to remain open through Easter weekend in April. Getting to the top of all the snow is easy thanks to Big Bear Snow Play’s Magic Carpet uphill lifts. It eliminates uphill climbs so parents and kids don’t tire out, and it allows them to save all their energy to enjoy as many downhill runs as they want. The snow gets groomed nightly at Big Bear Snow Play to ensure best possible conditions with evenly spread corduroy for downhill fun.
Big Bear Snow Play is open daily for snow tubing from 10 a.m.- 4 p.m. The Glow Tubing hours are open every night now through April 6 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. After April 6, Glow Tubing will return to Friday and Saturday nights until the end of the snow-tubing season. Snow tubing participants must be at least 36” tall. General admission passes, which includes tube rental and Magic Carpet lift are $35, and small children (36” to 42” in height) are $20 with a paying adult. Active law enforcement, firefighters and military personnel with official badge or proper identification receive a free all-day pass with the purchase of a regular all-day pass every Monday through Thursday. Big Bear Snow Play is located at 42825 Big Bear Blvd. (three miles east of Big Bear Village, next to Motel 6). For more information call 909-585-0075 or visit BigBearSnowPlay.com.
