Presented by the Conejo Valley Art Museum, ArtWalk is considered to be one of the best juried art shows in the area, accepting only quality artists, both local and from out of State. The economy has taken a toll on Art Fairs but CVAM has maintained the ‘fine art’ quality of this outdoor exhibit by not allowing any commercial booths.
ArtWalk is not your typical street fair. It’s a 2-day juried event that includes something for everyone: music, food, a children’s art booth, an art raffle, and entry and parking are free. A drive through Thousand Oaks and its valleys is beautiful and helps to make this fair enjoyable for the whole family.
ArtWalk features artists in acrylic/oil painting, ceramics, drawings/graphics, designer crafts and textiles, glass, jewelry, photography, sculpture, water painting and mixed media.
Celebrating it’s 29th year, the two-day art fair is scheduled for Saturday, June 4th and Sunday, June 5th, 10am – 5pm and will take place in Thousand Oaks on the Bank of America Building Grounds, 225 W. Hillcrest Drive.
For more information, see the Museum’s website at www.cvam.us or call 805-492-8778. With artists, musicians, a hands-on kid’s art area and food ArtWalk ’16 is an event for the entire family, and it’s free of charge!
