In honor of the 25th anniversary of the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza (TOCAP), the Thousand Oaks Alliance for the Arts (TOARTS) is hosting CURTAIN UP, a first-of-its-kind celebration of the arts for all to enjoy. The event will be held at the Fred Kavli Theatre at the Bank of America Performing Arts Center on Oct. 4, 2019, beginning at 5 p.m. CURTAIN UP attendees will enjoy specialty cocktails courtesy of Ventura Spirits Company and a gastronomic retrospective featuring foods inspired by the 1970s through present day. There will also be a private concert by Herb Alpert and Lani Hall, live auction and special presentation. The night will close with an after party that includes a dessert bar hosted by Mastro’s Steakhouse, dancing with the Don Randi Quartet and a big surprise.
