Ventura County’s 28th Anniversary Juneteenth Celebration will be held on Saturday, June 16th 2018 at Oxnard’s historic Plaza Park hosted by the Black American Political Association of California Ventura County Chapter (BAPAC-VC). The festivities are from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. A free fun-filled day for the entire family, the Juneteenth annual event will feature free health screenings, musical entertainment coordinated by KNS Rockstar with featured artist Bootsy Collin’s group “the B-Girl’s/Bootsy Girl’s and a lively performance by the Oxnard High School Jazz Ensemble. Shoppers will browse vendor booths selling art work, high end apparel, exquisite jewelry, as well as food by some of the most popular local vendors in Ventura County.
