Three-time Emmy Award-winner Debbie Allen and Lyrik Cruz, a featured instructor at the Debbie Allen Dance Academy, teach a free family-friendly salsa dance class as part of The Wallis’s wildly popular Dance Sundays, an exhilarating series of free, monthly, outdoor, dance events for the whole family, on Sunday, July 8, 2018, 5 – 7 pm.
Allen, who has served as artist in residence at the Kennedy Center for over 15 years, has, in addition to her Emmys, been recognized for her vast body of work with a Golden Globe, five NAACP Image Awards, Drama Desk, Astaire and Olivier awards and a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. All ages/dance levels welcome.
