Where to Eat, Stay, and Play in SoCal
This event presents a visual narrative documenting Mexico’s most relevant cultural and ancient tradition, as well as a display of colorful, handmade barriletes (kites) created and supplied by the Government of Guatemala to honor the deceased.
These exhibitions will be on view through December 3 as part of the one-night-only Dia de los Muertos: Celebrating the Colors of Life event on Saturday October 28th — a family-friendly, Meso-American festival of music and entertainment, art exhibitions, food, artisan booths, films, arts and crafts activities, and traditional altars in partnership with the Consulate General of Mexico, the Government of the State of Michoacán, Mexico, the Consulate General of Guatemala, and El Canal Cultural de México (Channel 22 Mexico) during a year of cultural exchange between Los Angeles and Mexico City.
