The 105-voice Los Robles Master Chorale (LRMC), among Southern California’s premier choirs, concludes its 29th season with “Lauridsen & Co,” an inspirational program, of choral music by living composers, led by Music Director Lesley Leighton, with the first half of the concert spotlighting the music of National Medal of the Arts recipient Morten Lauridsen. Also featured are four LRMC-commissioned world premieres by Vittorio Russo, William Cabison, Nick Carlozzi and LRMC Composer-in-Residence Jasper Randall. Other works include Lauren McLaren’s Yama No Mizu, Eric Whitacre’s When David Heard, Randall’s Cloths of Heaven and Norma Rio Pablico’s Banwar iti Cordillera.
