Segerstrom Center for the Arts announces the celebratory return of Movie Mondays, a yearly summer tradition that originated 15 years ago. Inspired by our upcoming 22/23 Broadway series shows, five films will play for free under the stars for the community. The summer lineup includes Moulin Rouge on July 11, To Kill a Mockingbird on July 18, Disney’s Frozen on July 25, Hairspray on August 1, and Chicago on August 8. Movie Mondays will take place on the Julianne and George Argyros Plaza. Family, friends, and the arts community are invited to join in on the summer fun! Set-up begins at 5:30pm, with movies starting at dusk (approximately 8pm). Guests may bring beach chairs or other easily portable seating items, snacks, and picnic dinners. Rotating food trucks and beverages at George’s Café can be enjoyed each Monday. All movies are FREE with an RSVP, and closed captioning provided. Pre-show activities will be sure to entertain the crowd before each show.
