OCMAExpand Opens Five Exhibitions

Orange County Museum of Art (OCMA) reopened to the public in its temporary space, OCMAExpand, presenting five previously announced exhibitions that were delayed due to the coronavirus pandemic, and announcing a sixth to open October 15. All the exhibitions, Alexandra Grant: Telepathy Is One Step Further Than Empathy (October 15), Carolyn Castaño: Cali es Cali, Noé Martínez: The Homeland of the Images, Marsia Alexander-Clarke: Ojos Profundos, Maryrose Cobarrubias Mendoza: Navigating Technics, and Kyungmi Shin: Father Crosses the Ocean, employ texts, narratives, and aspects of language in relationship to visual imagery to address how identity is shaped. In addition, the permanent collection exhibition, An Earth Song, A Body Song: Figures with Landscape from the OCMA Permanent Collection, will be on view. The museum will continue with its successful and innovative virtual programming #OCMAFromHome.
