The Casa Pacifica Angels Wine, Food & Brew Festival has steadily grown since 1994 to become the premier wine and food event in Ventura County. It began at the Ventura Pierpont Inn, continued from 2001 to 2006 at the Mandalay Beach Resort in Oxnard, and has flourished since 2007 at California State University’s Channel Islands in Camarillo. In fact, it was voted both “Best Charity Event” and “Best Food & Drink Festival” of Ventura County in 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017!

Santa Barbara is the original home of the California Wine Festival, a spectacular gathering of wine, food, music and fun at the beach! The 2018 host city for the 56th International Surf Festival is the City of Redondo Beach. The event promotes the four South Bay beach cities, the world’s best lifeguard service, and physical fitness for thousands of participants.  Participants range in age from 8 years old to the late 80’s.  The three signature events for the festival are the Judge Taplin Lifeguard Medley Relay, the Dwight Crum Pier-to-Pier Swim, and the Charley Saikley 6-Man Volleyball Tournament.  Other great events include a surfing contest, bodysurfing contest, beach run, paddleboard races, dory race, and youth events.
