Celebrate Father’s Day With Specials From Numerous L.A. Eateries

This Father’s Day, Sunday, June 17th, dozens of eateries across LA will offer several specials in honor of the man who does the most. From chicken sandwiches and skirt steaks to bottomless beer and barrel-aged tequila old fashions.

Restaurant: Melody

Location: Virgil Village

Executive Chef: Justin Abram

Specials: Melody will offer both a brunch and dinner special for Father’s Day this year. Enjoy a Crispy Chicken Cordon Bleu Sandwich and a can of Modelo Especial for $15 during brunch from 10am-4pm. Melody’s dinner special is available from 6pm-10pm and features a perfectly cooked Skirt Steak and a glass of Côtes du Rhône for $30.

Restaurant: Brack Shop Tavern

Location: DTLA

Executive Chef: Christena Quinn

Special: Brack Shop Tavern will offer a burger and beer combo for $15. Dads can enjoy the “So Damn Good Burger,” a new menu item that debuted this week, and their choice of house beer or Goose Island IPA. The burger includes ground chuck roast, American cheese, heirloom tomato, lettuce, house pickle, grilled onion, and Brack sauce.

Restaurant: SOCA

Location: Sherman Oaks

Executive Chef: Aaron Robins

Special: Treat your dad to SOCA’s “Baller Brunch” on Father’s Day – the brunch favorite includes a 32oz 30 day dry-aged prime Creekstone tomahawk ribeye, ½ dozen fried eggs, sautéed onions and arugula, and béarnaise. Pair it with bottomless mimosas, Bloody Mary’s, or craft beer to really celebrate your dad!

Restaurant: Same Same

Location: Silver Lake

Special: Silver Lake’s beloved Thai wine bar will offer a special on its canned sparkling wine to celebrate dad’s day for $8 (usually $13) from 5pm-close.

Restaurant: Mi Corazon

Location: Silver Lake

Executive Chef: Vanessa Swan

Special: Celebrate dad with a 2 for 1 deal on beer or try out the restaurant’s new barrel-aged tequila old fashioned for $9. Early imbibers can enjoy their beverages with brunch classics like Chilaquiles and Huevos Rancheros or stay for dinner and try guest favorites such as the 20-ingredient, house-made Chicken Mole.

Sunday Hours: 10am-11pm; Brunch menu items available from 10am-3pm

 

Restaurant: Baltaire

Location: Brentwood

Executive Chef: Travis Strickland

Specials: If dad prefers to indulge in a hearty, juicy steak for Father’s Day, then Baltaire is an excellent choice. The restaurant’s dinner menu will be available all day alongside select brunch favorites during the afternoon such as the Prime Filet Benedict, Ricotta and Blueberry Toast, and Flannery Ranch Prime Dry-Aged Kansas City Strip for two.

Sunday Hours: 11am-9:30pm; Brunch menu items available from 11am-3pm

 

Restaurant: Baldoria

Location: Little Tokyo

Executive Chef: Duke Gervais

Specials: Baldoria is switching up their usual weekend prix-fixe brunch for Father’s Day this year and will offer bottomless beer from Fort Point instead of mimosas and rosé, alongside one entrée or pizza and one side for $30. Make dad’s day extra special by signing up for a pizza making class by Chef Duke via Eventbrite. The class includes a pizza and a complimentary glass of beer or wine for $30.

Restaurant: Baran’s 2239

Location: Hermosa Beach

Executive Chef: Tyler Gugliotta

Specials: Cherries are officially in season and Chef Tyler is taking advantage of the fresh bounty with a special Cherry Glazed Pork Chop in honor of Father’s Day.

Restaurant: Filifera

Location: Hollywood

Specials: Hollywood’s hottest rooftop bar is celebrating Father’s Day with Brunch, Burgers, and Beer courtesy of Chef James Wilschke. Enjoy a special brunch burger and beer specials while taking in views from the Hollywood Sign to Griffith Observatory. Guests can make reservations through Resy!

Location: DTLA

Specials: DTLA’s favorite walk-up bar will feature a whole Nashville-style chicken served with three different sauces and a boilermaker special (shot + beer). Taking your dad to the Dodger game? Head to Prank before or after!

Shop: Vinovore

Location: Silver Lake

Owner & Sommelier: Coly Den Haan

Specials: Silver Lake’s female driven wine shop will be offering specialty prices on studly Bronze T-Rex “Beast Boxes,” which will feature wines made by father-daughter duos including Accornero from Italy and the natural French wine of Landra Pur Jus. These dad-themed boxes are easily customizable and can include retro puzzles, canteens, and other unique, personalized trinkets.
