Celebrate the art of blacksmithing with live demonstrations, hands-on activities, musical performances, tomahawk throwing, artisan metal and craft marketplace and other family-friendly fun.
Sparks will fly at the Second Annual Forge Festival, a community and family-friendly event that celebrates the art of blacksmithing along with fellow artisans of Northeast Los Angeles.
Check out live demonstrations, participate in hands-on activities (including tomahawk throwing) and enjoy musical performances along with browsing through an artisan metal works and crafts marketplace. Food trucks will be on hand as well.
The Forge Festival is noon – 4pm on Sunday, Feb. 10 at the Audubon Center at Debs Park, 4700 Griffin Ave, LA 90031.
Presale tickets will be available soon. Tickets are $25; free for kids 12 and younger.
The Forge Festival is hosted by Adam’s Forge, a Glassell Park nonprofit blacksmithing school that shares the craft through classes and other fun experiences and activities.
