Food Trucks Trek to Northern Trust Open

The Northern Trust Open has been a staple in LA for years and is one of the only SoCal events where LA sports fans have the opportunity to see PGA greats and next generation PGA superstars play for stardom in their own backyard. Taking place Feb 18-22 at the Riviera Country Club in the Pacific Palisades, this year’s tournament will feature big names such as Sergio Garcia, Bubba Watson, Fred Couples, and more. This year, the Northern Trust Open is spicing up an already popular event with #morethangolf.

Walking the course while following your favorite golfers is a great way to witness greatness, get some sun and exercise, and relish in the beauty of our SoCal eucalyptus trees and greens. If you just want to lounge in the fresh air, the hillside on the 18th hole offers a chance to relax and watch PGA greats finish their day. Others use the event to build business relationships. The sponsor tents offer a fun place to get to know your guests, talk business and life, have some great food and cocktails with a backdrop of SoCal beauty, amazing fairways, impossible chip shots, and drives that leave you in awe. This year will also offer the “Green Room” VIP experience along with the best of the best LA food trucks giving attendees #morethangolf. Say goodbye to the usual pro shop club sandwich on white and say hello to cheesy mac, tacos, burgers, lobster, sushi, and BBQ.

“Food trucks are an important element of the LA food scene, so we wanted to give our fans at the Northern Trust Open tons of options that would highlight the unique cuisine the city is known for,” said Northern Trust Open Executive Director, O.D. Vincent. “With all the different food truck partners we’ve brought onboard, I’m confident we’ll have something for everyone, and the fan experience is going to be that much more memorable because of it.”
