Celebrate Your Four-Legged Family Member or Adopt One at Oxnard Shores Day of the Dog
They say every dog has his or her day and at Oxnard Beach Park, that day is January 20, 2018 at the Oxnard Shores Day of the Dog. Well mannered and socialized dogs are invited to join the off-leash fun from 10am to 3pm at the park located at 1601 Harbor Blvd, Oxnard, CA 93035.
Featuring Original Americana and Blues music from Kelly’s Lot & Friends in a live acoustic performance.
Don’t have a dog of your own? No problem. The Humane Society of Ventura County and CARL, the Canine Adoption and Rescue League, will be joined by other local rescue groups bringing dogs available for adoption with one mission: to find homes for as many pets as possible. This fun-filled event in Oxnard is a fantastic way to meet adoptable animals without having to run all over town – and an easy way to get your fill of cuteness.
Highlights include local vendors including Oxnard Natural Pet Supply and Hot Diggity Dogs, pet services such as Channel Islands Veterinary Hospital, Toni’s Mobile Pet Spa, Be Free Dog Training, and My Best Friend Obedience, the world’s longest Downward Dog Yoga Tunnel for dogs to run though, and more!
Day of the Dog is FREE! Thanks to dog-gone amazing sponsor: Oxnard City Parks, Recreation, Community Services Commission “Furry Friends Task Force.”
