Pediatric Cancer Research Foundation (PCRF) kicks off the 2nd Annual Dine & Donate Event on September 26, 2018 partnering with 327 restaurants to spread awareness and raise money for life saving cancer research.
Pediatric Cancer Research Foundation (PCRF) partners with over 320 restaurants to host a nationwide Dine & Donate event on Wednesday, September 26th. PCRF has teamed up with several restaurants that will extend the campaign throughout multiple restaurant locations and franchises. Chipotle Mexican Grill, known for making real food with wholesome ingredients, is a lead partner in the event, with 271 locations in the area donating 50 percent of fundraiser sales from open to close to PCRF. Together, all Dine & Donate restaurant participants and PCRF support an important cause: saving children’s lives!
On Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2018, as Childhood Cancer Awareness month concludes, restaurants throughout Southern California will donate a percentage of the day’s proceeds to PCRF. The program offers a way for restaurants to connect with their local communities, while providing for an avenue to contribute to innovative research improving the care, quality of life and survival rate of children fighting cancer. For supporters, giving back can be as simple as dining out at their favorite contributing restaurant and mentioning the campaign.
“We’re incredibly proud to grow this Dine & Donate program and raise awareness throughout the country after donations totaled over $16,000 in its inaugural year,” said Jeri Wilson, Executive Director for PCRF. “We’re humbled by the response of the restaurants in the Southern California marketplace and thank all our participating restaurants for their support and participation. These partnerships will expand beyond a single experience and create hope for a cure and new discoveries in research for pediatric cancer.”

Restaurants will be incorporated into the social media campaign and receive promotional materials that can be displayed and distributed at their restaurant throughout the month of September.
Participating restaurants in Southern California include: Chipotle Mexican Grill (271 locations across Sothern California). 230 Forest Ave. Restaurant & Bar, Akasha, AR Cucina, Avila’s El Ranchito, Fresh Brothers (Multiple Locations including Los Angeles, Laguna Niguel, Irvine and Newport Beach) Hopdoddy Burger Bar in Newport Beach and Tustin, Hummus Bowl, Jersey Mike’s (Multiple Locations including Foothill Ranch, Irvine, Laguna Niguel, Lake Forest, Mission Viejo, Newport Beach, Orange and Tustin), Juice it Up Irvine, Newport Rib Company, Polly’s Pies Restaurant in Santa Ana and Orange, Santa Maria BBQ, Selma’s Chicago Pizza (Multiple Locations including Ladera Ranch, Rancho Santa Margarita and San Juan Capistrano), Rothschild’s, R.T.E. Restaurant, Ruby’s (Multiple Locations including Corona del Mar, Laguna Beach and San Clemente), The Cannery Seafood of the Pacific and The Stand (Multiple Locations including Calabasas, Encino, Irvine, Newport Beach, Northridge, Pasadena and Woodland Hills).
