See It Live!

No one comes to LA to see the stars in the sky. So if you want to see the real stars, go visit them on TV. Here’s how to score tickets for some of the hottest shows in tinsel town.

Talk it Out
“The Talk” tapes every Monday through Thursday at 11am; there’s usually a second show on Thursdays at 1 p.m. Tickets are free and guests need to be over 18. You can check out the calendar and choose the date to hear what everyone is talking about. www.cbs.com/shows/the_talk/tickets/

Sitcoms are Alive and Well
Audiences Unlimited, Inc. offers tickets to some of the most popular sitcoms: “Two Broke Girls,” “Mike & Molly,” “Mom,” “Big Bang Theory,” “Let’s Make a Deal,” “Hot in Cleveland,” “America’s Funniest Home Videos” – and more! This is also your stop if you’re on the cutting edge and want to check out new TV pilots, as they will offer tickets to premiers of shows as well. Check individual shows for age limits. www.tvtickets.com/. Another site to look for tickets for sitcoms is www.tvtix.com.

Afternoon Delight
Admittedly so, Ellen’s show are some of the toughest tickets in town to score. But still worth a try, and we can’t imagine even standing in the Riff-Raff Room isn’t worth it! But plan your tickets well in advance for a shot at seeing the funny lady herself. If you’re feeling lucky, they do offer a few tickets at noon the day of taping (818.954.5929). They like the audience members to be at least age 14. www.ellentv.com/tickets/

Make It a Late Night
Well, in theory, Jimmy Kimmel tapes in the afternoon; but with late night humor, you must be at least 18 to attend. The website offers who the upcoming guests are so you can possibly try to choose tickets by date or by guests. 1iota.com/Show/1/Jimmy-Kimmel-Live

Dancing With The Stars
We won’t lie, tickets are hard to come by, but still worth trying to tap your way into the audience. For tickets, you can visit ocatv.com or call On Camera Audiences at 818.295.2700.

And if you don’t want to see the show but instead be in the show: this site lists where extras are needed for big scenes in movies. www.beinamovie.com/
