Find the Perfect Pup for Take Your Dog to Work Day at Shelter Hope

In honor of Take Your Dog to Work Day we are partnering with Shelter Hope to help some pups find great parents. We will spotlight different dogs throughout the day on our Instagram. If you are not ready to fully commit to adopting, fostering can be a great option. Here is a list of current adoptable dogs at Shelter Hope in Thousand Oaks.

Harlow:

Harlow is a handsome 2 year old pup with tons of energy in him. He has some jack russel in him and loves being active. He’s perfect to take on runs. You can’t say no to those big blue eyes!

Timba:

Timba is a four year old adorable female pug. The poor girl was overbred and her puppies were being sold off of Craigslist! Despite her past, she is a loving, chill animal, perfect for families.

Derby:

Derby is a one year old cockapoo with high energy! You’ll have a lot of fun with him. He was rescued from a high kill shelter, and he is looking for a home with lots of love to give!

Maverick:

Maverick is a year old male and was rescued from a high kill shelter in San Bernardino. He is a fun-loving, high-energy, puppyish dog. Great for someone who can give him lots of attention!

Tater:

Just like the tater tot, Tater the dog is simply fantastic. She is a little bit shy around new people. Ladies— listen up! Tater bonds really well with women, so if you need a companion please do not hesitate!

Barnaby:

Barnaby might just be the cutest dog you’ll ever lay eyes on. He is a super sweet 5 year old male who only wants to love his future family. He was rescued from a high kill shelter and is ready for his fur-ever home.

Vali:

Vali is a Brussels/Griffon pug mix! She is three years old and she absolutely loves being held! She has a great personality and would love to be a part of your home.

Dora:

Dora just came into the shelter on Wednesday. She is a one year old Min-Pin mix, quiet, and just adorable. She would make the perfect first dog for any family.

Gazelle:

Gazelle is simply the cutest puppy ever! Her ears and her adorable face make her so hard to resist. She has a brother at the shelter, but she is looking for some new friends to give her all the love and attention she deserves!

Valero:

Valero is only 10 weeks old and one of the cutest puppies at the shelter. He had three other sisters who are either at the shelter or in their new home. He would love to snuggle with a new family!

Pookie:

Pookie has so much character. She is a chunky 5 year old lady who loves to sit with her pup friends and watch the world around her. She is so playful and loving, perfect for kids!

Ollie:

Ollie was a recent surrender to the shelter. He is a little afraid of people but is so sweet and adorable. Remind him how a family should love their forever friends today!

About Shelter Hope:

Shelter Hope Pet Shop was created to aid shelter pet adoptions, promote education and bring awareness to the communities we serve. We are the first and only volunteer humane pet shop partnering with companies, such as NewMark Merrill, who donate store front space in busy shopping locations in order to assist us with community outreach and shelter pet adoptions. Shelter Hope Pet Shop is a unique, large scale business model, which aims to eliminate puppy mill pet shops in our malls across the nation.

Shelter Hope Pet Shop provides a fun, friendly place where visitors and volunteers can meet and interact with animals needing adoption. You can also visit Shelter Hope Pet Shop for pet merchandise and know your dollars are going directly back to help save the lives of homeless pets.
