Super Saturday LA is a great way to not only snag amazing designer items at a 50% off discount, but also support the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund. This year, the event takes place on May 16th at the Barker Hanger in Santa Monica. Hosted by Rachel Zoe, Rodger Berman, Molly Sims, and Scott Stuber, Super Saturday LA promises celebrity sightings and top tier shopping at its finest.
“I am thrilled to host OCRF’s Super Saturday Los Angeles again with my husband, Rodger, and my dear friends, Molly Sims and Scott Stuber,” says Zoe, “we had an amazing time at the event last year and are so glad that we are returning for year two. OCRF’s Super Saturday has raised millions of dollars for OCRF, and I couldn’t be more proud to help in the fight against ovarian cancer.”
Last year, the event boasted designers from Versace to Kate Spade, and was supported by celebrities such as this year’s hosts, as well as Tiffany Thiessen, Liev Schreiber, Giuliana Rancic, and more. Audra Moran, President and CEO of OCRF says, “Rachel and Molly are both wonderful supporters of OCRF and have helped us raise awareness of the need for more research to stop this terrible disease. They have both participated in our New York event, and supported the organization in different ways. They both feel strongly about promoting women’s health, and are the perfect hosts for our LA event.”
“My family and I are looking forward to spending the day with everyone, shopping and enjoying all of the fun activities on-site, all for such an important cause,” says Sims, “it is truly an event the whole family can enjoy and I am excited to host it for the second year with Rachel and Rodger.”
The day-long charity designer sale will offer jewelry, accessories, beauty, fashion, and home items, with 100% of proceeds going to charity. “We have many outstanding brands involved this year, many of which have been supporters of OCRF and Super Saturday for several years,” says Audra Moran. “For the garage sale shopping, brands like French Connection, Trina Turk, James Perse, Kitson, elysewalker los angeles, Tommy Hilfiger, Nautica, Happy Socks, Rachel Zoe, LeSportsac, Kenneth Cole and more, have donated items,” she says. “We also have amazing sponsors such as Matrix, L’Oreal, Hasbro, Los Angeles Lakers, Mary Kay, Casper and more who are working to create fun activations on-site for the whole family to enjoy, as well as companies like Asa Meza and FIJI who are donating food and beverages. We find that so many people have been touched by ovarian cancer, and we are constantly learning that so many vendors have a personal connection to the cause.”
Make sure to mark you calendars and come on out any time between 11am-5pm on May 16th at the Barker Hanger in Santa Monica and shop till you drop for this worthy cause!
