Cottontail Bunny Visits Ventura Harbor Village

The Easter Bunny is coming, and Ventura Harbor is presenting two fun-filled festivals starring the hippity-hoppin’ Cottontail Bunny on Saturday, March 28 and Sunday, April 5.

Egg hunts, a petting zoo, kids’ crafts and entertainment and taking photos with Mr. Bunny highlight the Cottontail Day festivities on Saturday March 28. The $2 Egg Hunts for children ages 1-7 are every 15-30 minutes from 11 AM – 2 PM and include free coloring books (while supplies last). Those finding the “Golden Egg” will be presented extra prizes.

More fun includes a scavenger hunt where clues guide guests to a special “Hoppy Surprise”. There are also pony rides, henna and glitter tattoos, face painting, children’s entertainment by Jamie Shaheen, tumbling fun with MyGym, plus the Village Arcade & Carousel, pedal boats, jumpies and more. And of course, you and the family can go early for brunch at one of the many harborside dining spots or shop the bevy of boutiques for Easter basket treats such as homemade fudge, French pastries, and waffle cone gift certificates.

On Sunday, April 5 from 12 Noon to 3 PM, Cottontail Bunny returns for the Harbor Is Hopping festivities which include lots of Easter brunches, free kids’ crafts, fun at the Village Arcade & Carousel, and live music by the Dixieland band, Main Street Jazz, on the Village Carousel stage.

Cottontail Day and Harbor Is Hopping both offer free parking and free admission. For location and more details, visit www.VenturaHarborVillage.com or call 805-477-0470.
