World Series of Beach Volleyball to feature Oympians & Showcase Amateur Players

World Series of Beach Volleyball, which has grown to be the largest ever all encompassing beach volleyball event in the United States, is coming to SoCal! The event features thousands of players and matches with Olympians and professional players such as American favorite’s Kerri Walsh Jennings, April Ross and Phil Dalhausser, as well as showcase junior and amateur tournaments.

 

Happening in Long Beach from Thursday July 13th – Sunday July 16th (10am – 7pm daily), WSOBV will debut a new “Cup” format giving spectators the chance to see the best professional teams from the United States paired matched against top teams from around the world. The format will ensure a USA / international matchup in the finals.

 

As always, there will be events for the entire family including a free kids day on July 14th with free clinics and activities for little ones, a celebrity beach volleyball tournament with professional sports stars whose team will be led by NFL legend Terrell Owens, as well as music, food and fun throughout the week.

OPEN COMPETITION:

While volleyball superstars will take center stage at the WSOBV, players of all skill levels and ages will also have the opportunity to compete in co-ed and single gender four and six-man, youth, and collegiate tournaments throughout the week.
